Mark's Finest Papers

I think the best stamp set was saved for last this month. The sayings in this set crack me up. I like both of the trains I used today.

I received a card from my daughter that had this die-cut on it. I removed the die-cut and flipped it over to use the other side. I know I seem to be cheap. I have to be. I live on a fixed income and do not own a die-cut machine. My daughter does not expect me to keep her cards forever. She told me to reuse what I can. The blue paper was a piece of wrapping paper from a gift I received. I reused the blue ribbon, too!

This is a tin filled with a watch.
 It measures 4 1/2" x 2 1/2"

I stamped the image and colored with markers. I found the tin in my sewing box. Not sure but think it had candy in it originally. I put a watch in it for my grandson. I put the time at an hour late so it would fit the saying.

  1. Love your little tin with the "late" watch; very clever and your grandson will love it. Your card is also very pretty.

  4. love both - the card is very detailed and creative but the tin looks so great with the plaid and what a gret way to re-purpose it.

  5. I too love these train stamps. Brilliant use of them on both projects. I agree that we should try and reuse what we can, and if I had that beautiful die sent to me on a card, I too would probably remove it and reuse it. Wonderful.
