My First Blog Post. My First Challenge.

Hello,
I'm new to blogging. I was forced to blog by my daughter. She used to sell stamping supplies at parties but stopped last year to go back to work full time.

I am a grandmother. I am a widow. My husband was retired navy. He was a good man. I'm what is called an active senior. I used to garden. I used to quilt. Now my hobby is stamping. I love to make things out of paper. Scrapbooks are a favorite paper craft of mine. I started over 60 years ago. I have been putting things in scrapbooks for what seems forever.

I live on the east coast. My daughter lives in the south.  She travels north for her job and we get together to shop for our hobbies. That brings me to my card. I won the Grand Prize from a stamp store in Ohio a few months ago. I got 40 stamp sets, some markers, papers and ribbons from a company called Marks Finst Papers. My daughter dragged me there for a class. I was too tired to stamp. I shopped instead. I found I liked the stamps and papers and asked about the company that made them. The cashier said they were a good company and had a cute salesman. Got to hand it to them. They know how to sell to stamp stores.

I got a call last week from the cashier and she said I won the grand prize. I was flabbergasted. I have never won a thing in my life. I got the box on Friday. I looked up the web address on the stamps and found the store for the company. It has more than any store I have shopped in. 40 stamp sets is plenty to keep me busy. My daughter told me I had to make a blog showing my cards and scrapbook pages I make with the stamps I won. She said it was fair to the company. I decided she was right.

They have a blog for stamps.
It's this one http://marksfinestpapers.blogspot.com
I found a challenge there for inspiration.
I decided to put snowflakes on my card when I saw the challenge.
I used the letter in the prize box as a guide to color the fox image.
Please let me know how you like my card.
