Hello. Today's cards were made with the new set called Mother's Magnolias. I found these beautiful flowers very easy to color. I used markers with 100lb Snow Storm cardstock.

This card was made with the scraps from the above card.

Today's card were made with the new set Wild Horses. This image is my favorite Southwest image. I stamped the image in Noir and colored with markers. The papers are black and Classic Flax from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinricht Company. The sun was masked and sponged.
This image is very easy to color. I used reinkers and a paintbrush to get the color blend. The reinkers were Palette inks. The strip panel was stamped in dark brown Memento ink.

Today's cards are made with Flap My Wattles. I went full country for this first card. I stamped the checks from Christmas Music to form the border on Classic Flax. The chicken was stamped in
Noir and colored with markers. I didn't understand why the word SOUP was on the stamp set. I called to find out what it meant. DUH! I laughed so loud the security company beeped in to see if I was alright. In case you need a hint this card says "Chicken Soup   Get Well Soon". I am sending this to a co-stamper on the design team.

The polka dot ribbon border on this is a stamp. Heavens to Betsy I can't tell you how long I've wanted a company to make a stamp like this! My grand-daughter didn't make the cheerleading squad. I'm sending this to her. I think it will make her smile.

Here is my card. I'm very excited to be a part of this design team. It's my first design team and I'm nervous. The ladies who make up this team are very talented. Their cards are masterpieces.

Here is my humble attempt at a sponged scene.
I stamped the image in Noir. I used Post-its as masks for the moon and beam. I sponged in the sea and sky.

This card also used masking.

I stamped the lighthouse in Noir. Next, I used a long Post-It to create the horizon. The sea and sky are sponged in with distress inks. The image was colored with markers.

A recycle project

Hello from PA! I'm in a stamping rhythm and made this card for the Speedy Fox Challenge Here.
I recycled the fabric. It was left overs from my granddaughter's Easter dress. I finished it last weekend. This set is from Mark's Finest Papers a Hienricht Company. My daughter gave it to me for dressmaker's pay. Hee

See you soon.
Thank you for comments.

Goodness me!

I can't wait to have it official. I want my daughter to see this. I was contacted a few weeks ago and asked to join a design team! How? I had some cards that I sent to the company thanking them for winning a contest.

The lady sent me a letter and asked if I had a blog. I said yes. But I only have one thing on it. She asked if I wanted more. I laughed and said I had photos of my grandchildren. She said I could put them on if I would join the Mark's Finest Papers, a Hienricht Company design team. Thud. That was me fainting. See this my sweet sweet daughter? I can't believe it either! Anyone know how to put a blog button on? I can't that out. I'll add it here for now.

I am in shock. I got this emailed me to me a few minutes ago.

Anyone know how to use a watermark that they didn't make themselves? I only have the one I made and can't figure out the other one given to me.

I'm so new this whole thing. It's scary and exciting at the same time.
